CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India E-Press / ITDC News Bhopal: Under Project Banganga, a state-level program was organized at Sector Ambedkar Anganwadi Centre No. 1061 to distribute Vidyarambh certificates to registered children aged 5 to 6 years, with the objective of strengthening early childhood education. The event was held in the presence of around 165 beneficiaries, children, and participants, under the chief guestship of Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria.
Additionally, under the project, cluster-based distribution was carried out across 7 sector-level units and 143 Anganwadi centres, where certificates were distributed to children aged 5 to 6 years. To ensure maximum participation, invitation letters were sent to parents, along with door-to-door outreach efforts. Awareness rallies were also organized at Anganwadi centres to promote the initiative.
During the program, children presented dance, music, and poetry recitations, while parents shared their experiences regarding their children and the Anganwadi centres. A total of 2,800 children were awarded certificates, with beneficiaries and parents actively participating in the event.
