CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A state-level workshop regarding the 21st Livestock Census 2024 has been organized in the auditorium of the Directorate of Veterinary and Dairy Services. The workshop will be inaugurated by Alka Upadhyay, Secretary of the Department of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Government of India, and E. Ramesh Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Madhya Pradesh.

This workshop has been organized with the objective of developing and implementing an effective strategy for the 21st Livestock Census in Madhya Pradesh, as directed by the Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India. The workshop will include detailed sessions on the working system and guidelines for the census, training on the mobile application and dashboard software, and addressing participants’ questions and concerns.

The 21st Livestock Census will be conducted by the Government of India in 55 districts of Madhya Pradesh, covering 18 million households through a door-to-door survey.
