A two-year-old girl playing outside her home was brutally mauled to death by stray dogs. Despite her parents’ screams and cries, she could not be saved and died before being taken to the hospital.
This tragic incident occurred on Magrul Road in the Kotwali police station area of Khargone city. Sanjay Bhilala, who makes a living through labor, said that after returning from work in the evening, he was cooking at home while his wife was busy with other household chores. During this time, their two-year-old daughter Rani was playing outside when a pack of 4-5 stray dogs appeared and attacked the child.
The girl’s father said that upon hearing his daughter’s screams, he rushed outside and tried to chase the dogs away, but by then, the dogs had severely injured the child’s entire body. The seriously injured girl was immediately taken to the district hospital, but the doctors declared her dead.
Head constable Madhav Singh of the district hospital’s police outpost confirmed the incident, stating that the girl’s body had several deep wounds caused by the dog attack. This tragic incident has created an uproar in the entire area, and people are worried about the problem of stray dogs.
