CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The newly appointed Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) in-charge, Harish Chaudhary, received a grand welcome upon his arrival in Bhopal, the state capital. Congress leaders and workers greeted him at the state Congress office with garlands and slogans. Present on this occasion were Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, Deputy Leader of Opposition Hemant Katare, and other senior leaders.
A crucial meeting was held to discuss strengthening the state organization, preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, organizational changes, and overall party strategy. Congress leaders and workers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the party and effectively addressing public issues.
Addressing the meeting, Harish Chaudhary emphasized that every Congress worker must work in unison to spread the party’s ideology to every household. Stressing the importance of unity and strength, he asserted that Congress must emerge stronger in Madhya Pradesh and raise public issues effectively. He also emphasized the need for a powerful opposition role, both inside and outside the legislative assembly. A statewide campaign will be launched soon, during which he will meet workers across districts to discuss organizational strengthening.
State Congress President Jitu Patwari expressed confidence that the enthusiasm and dedication of Congress workers would bring a significant political shift in Madhya Pradesh. He urged everyone to unite, spread Congress policies among the people, and build a strong organization. Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar also addressed the meeting.
The meeting included extensive discussions on the party’s upcoming programs, public outreach campaigns, movements, protests, and demonstrations on public interest issues. Congress vowed to fight strongly at all levels and become the voice of the people. During the meeting, the Preamble of the Constitution was read aloud, and attendees took an oath to protect constitutional values.
Following the meeting, Harish Chaudhary and Jitu Patwari held separate discussions with MLAs, district/city Congress presidents, and heads of various organizational units, focusing on strengthening the party structure.
The meeting was attended by Congress Media Department President Mukesh Nayak, Deputy Leader of Opposition Hemant Katare, former Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria, former Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh ‘Rahul Bhaiya,’ Dr. Govind Singh, Kamleshwar Patel, K.P. Singh, Sajjan Singh Verma, N.P. Prajapati, Jaivardhan Singh, Sachin Yadav, All India Congress Secretary Sanjay Dutt, Rajeev Singh, Gaurav Radhuwanshi, former ministers, MLAs, state Congress office bearers, Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates, former MLAs, Congress spokespersons, and presidents of all Congress front organizations.
