CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The atmosphere on the set of the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’ was kept quite different from that of regular film shoots. Based on the life and spiritual teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, the film’s set followed several strict rules to maintain discipline and a spiritual environment.
Actor Chandan Anand is also part of the film. Writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi has shared details about the rules followed during the shoot.
According to the report, abusive language, loud arguments and fights were not allowed on the set. Non-vegetarian food and alcohol were also completely prohibited. Each day of shooting began with the entire team reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, and whenever possible, the day also ended with the same recitation.
Director Vishal Chaturvedi said that several times, despite a morning shift, the camera would roll late because of technical or other reasons. At such times, the team would recite the Hanuman Chalisa. According to him, the entire process was in keeping with the film’s spiritual theme and the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba.
During promotions too, the film’s team gave priority to the spirit of service and organised eight large Mangal bhandaras, serving food to people.
Amid discussion about the film’s story and the discipline followed on set, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ is also receiving a good response from audiences.
