CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Science Communication Center of Rabindranath Tagore University organized various programs on the occasion of National Space Day 2024 to raise awareness and interest in science and space among students. The event was graced by Dr. Poorvi Bhardwaj, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Dr. Nilesh Sharma, Dean of the Faculty of Law, as the chief guests.

A workshop on telescope operation was a special attraction for students interested in astronomy. In this workshop, students were provided with information about various aspects of telescopes and were also taught how to operate them. The film show based on the Chandrayaan missions introduced students to the exciting and inspiring journey of India’s space missions. Following this, an open house quiz allowed students to demonstrate their knowledge of space science and ISRO while learning new facts.

The programs mainly included a film show based on the journey of Chandrayaan missions, an open house quiz on ISRO and its missions, and a workshop on telescope operation, where detailed information was shared.

The coordinator of the program was Dr. Prabal Roy, Director of the Science Communication Center.

Students from the faculties of Science, Engineering, and Law at the university enthusiastically participated in the event.
