CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the students of the late renowned journalism mentor Pushpendra Pal Singh took a special initiative in his memory. Over 10 study tables were donated to underprivileged children studying at Harshini Social Welfare Foundation. Senior socialist thinker Raghu Thakur and several disciples of the late P.P. Singh were present on this occasion. A short film based on memoirs prepared by P.P. Singh’s students was also screened for the children.

Harshini Social Welfare Foundation has long been working in the fields of education, nutrition, and personality development for underprivileged and needy children. The foundation not only provides a supportive learning environment but also focuses on the holistic development of children through cultural and creative activities.

Children of HSWF also presented various cultural performances during the program. The event was attended by the foundation’s Director Neha Mamtani, Mahesh Mamtani, Director Atul Mishra, social worker Ramji Ram, Dinesh Tripathi, O.P. Kaushal, Ashok Khatwani, Vivek Shukla, Neeta, Sharda, Ketkar, Vinita Tomar from Voice of Parents, and several other dignitaries.
On the occasion, Raghu Thakur said, “Late Pushpendra Pal Singh was like a guiding light in the lives of his students. His disciples continue to carry forward social responsibilities, which is the truest tribute to him.” The students added, “P.P. Sir always taught us to help others. We are striving to follow the path of his teachings.”
