CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “An Outreach Activity on Adverse Drug Reactions: AIIMS Bhopal’s Awareness Campaign in Neelbad” A team from the Department of Pharmacology at AIIMS, led by Executive Director Professor (Dr.) Ajay Singh, organized an outreach activity at the Government Middle School in Neelbad. Prof. Singh is a strong advocate for expanding health services to underserved rural populations. This initiative is part of AIIMS Bhopal’s ongoing commitment to extend health services to rural communities in neighboring districts, reinforcing its dedication to the state and region.
The aim of the program was to raise awareness among the local community and teachers about adverse drug reactions. It is also important to note that AIIMS operates an Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Center for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh under the Pharmacovigilance Program of India, which works in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacology and the Community and Family Medicine Department.
