CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal organized a Hindi Fortnight. During the event, various Hindi competitions were held under the guidance of Lt. Colonel Ashish Agrawal, Director of NIFT Bhopal, and coordinated by Samta, Junior Translation Officer at NIFT Bhopal, to inspire and encourage all officers, faculty members, and staff to work in the official language Hindi. Competitions included Hindi essay writing, Hindi picture description, Hindi poetry recitation, Hindi typing, Hindi translation and language knowledge, Hindi note-making and drafting, and Hindi dictation.

There was remarkable participation in these competitions. The awards for the competitions this year were as follows: First prize – ₹5000, Second prize – ₹4000, Third prize – ₹3000, and Encouragement prize – ₹1000.

To motivate and encourage the participants of the competitions, a closing ceremony for the Hindi Fortnight was organized at NIFT Bhopal. The closing program was conducted by Samta, Junior Translation Officer at NIFT Bhopal. Certificates were awarded to the winning participants (a total of 47) by Lt. Colonel Ashish Agrawal, Director of NIFT Bhopal, and Akhil Sahay, Joint Director and Official Language In-charge of NIFT Bhopal. The winners were congratulated, and all participants were encouraged to continue working in Hindi.
