CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “At the Newborn Care Unit of J.K. Hospital on Kolar Road, Bhopal, a baby of approximately 28-30 weeks was delivered via surgery. Due to the premature birth, the baby was experiencing breathing difficulties and seizures. The mother had an infection, which caused the baby to be lethargic. During examination, it was found that blood had accumulated in the baby’s brain, and breathing was repeatedly stopping. The baby’s abdomen was swollen, preventing proper feeding.

The baby was placed on a ventilator for breathing assistance, and other complications were treated successfully. The infant was kept in the newborn unit for 37 days under close observation. With the dedicated care of Dr. A.K. Chaudhary, Dr. Jyotsna Verma (pediatrician), and their team, the baby ultimately gained weight to 1400 grams and was discharged in a healthy condition. The baby is now breastfeeding and no longer has fever or seizures. The team of pediatric and neonatal specialists at J.K. Hospital provided devoted care, ensuring the baby’s recovery and safe discharge.”
