CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Dr. Abhishek Gupta from the Department of Public Health Dentistry and Dr. Rashmi Ikka from the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Bhabha College of Dental Sciences, under Bhabha University, have successfully completed the three-day national-level training program organized by the National Resource Center for Oral Health at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi.

This training program was conducted for healthcare professionals across the country, aiming to enhance skills and awareness among dental professionals in the field of tobacco control through a national-level training and capacity-building initiative.

Commenting on this achievement, Dr. Abhishek Gupta stated that participation in such national programs increases the knowledge of faculty members, which directly benefits the students. The knowledge and experience gained from this training will be incorporated into their teaching and research activities, and they will also advance it as a mission to improve oral health standards in the state.

It is believed that such training programs will serve as an important step toward strengthening oral health services in the country and achieving the objectives of the national health policy.
