CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Sant Hirdaram Nagar station, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Bhopal, Saurabh Kataria, conducted a surprise inspection of the catering unit located on platform number 1. During the inspection, several irregularities were found at the catering stall, including undercooked patties being sold, the absence of a “No Bill No Pay” sticker, a faulty billing machine, and the expiry date missing on the fire extinguisher. For these irregularities, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager instructed that a penalty be imposed on the concerned stall as per the contract rules. Additionally, the stall’s licensed representative employees were directed to address the mentioned deficiencies. Assistant Commercial Manager Naval Agarwal was also present during this inspection.

Passengers are urged to cooperate with the railway administration’s efforts to keep the station premises clean and free of plastic and to dispose of waste only in the designated dustbins. Avoid using single-use plastic. The railway administration is always committed to providing passengers with clean and high-quality food within the railway premises.
