CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: CEO Ila Tiwari Reviews Preparations for Upcoming Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2025
As part of preparations for the upcoming Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2025, Ila Tiwari, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Bhopal, held a review meeting with ADEOs, PCOs, and Block Coordinators at the District Panchayat Auditorium.
During the meeting, CEO Tiwari emphasized the importance of:
Visual cleanliness in villages
Citizen feedback collection
Public awareness through wall paintings
Continuous operation of garbage collection vehicles
She instructed all officials to be physically present in their respective cluster panchayats to ensure effective field monitoring.
The meeting also highlighted the need to focus on:
Community toilets in villages
Segregation sheds
Toilets in government institutions
NADEP pits, soak pits, leach pits
Cleaning of drains and silt chambers
The district and janpad-level teams were directed to continuously monitor these key areas.
Additionally, the e-KYC work under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin was reviewed. Panchayats with pending e-KYC cases were instructed to complete them within 10 days.
Strict disciplinary action will be recommended against ADEOs and PCOs who fail to meet the deadline.
