CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign at IIIT Bhopal is being conducted continuously with great enthusiasm and energy. The campaign began when all faculty members and students of the institute came together to take a pledge of “Clean India, Healthy India.” In this pledge, they vowed to keep themselves clean, spread the message of cleanliness in society, and actively contribute to making India free from litter and pollution.

Following this, a massive cleaning drive was organized across the institute campus. On this occasion, more than 100 students and faculty members enthusiastically took brooms, gloves, and garbage bags and participated in the drive. Every corner of the college resounded with the efforts of participants contributing to cleanliness. The scene resembled a movement, with every hand holding a broom and every heart filled with the spirit of a clean India.
The next phase of the campaign took place at Shahpura Lake, where faculty and students gathered in large numbers under the guidance of Nodal Officers Ajay Srivastava and Pawan Kumar. Notably, Dr. Ashish Parihar, Nikhil Singh, Sunil Kumar, Deep Chandra Joshi, Dr. Abhinav Singh Parihar, Dr. Rajneesh Chaurasia, Akhilendra Pratap Singh, Paridhi Aathre, and Pallavi Aate were present. The cleaning drive along the lake turned into a public movement. The enthusiasm of students, active participation of teachers, and leadership of officials made the event historic. The lake area echoed for hours with the slogan “Swachhata Hi Seva Hai,” and everyone felt proud to participate in this noble task.

The institute’s campaign will not stop here. A future program will honor the “Swachhata Mitras,” recognizing those who contribute daily to keeping society and the nation clean. In this way, IIIT Bhopal’s “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign has become a source of inspiration not only for the institute but for the entire city of Bhopal.
