CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Several cleanliness-related programs were organized in the rural areas of Bhopal district as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” fortnight. The purpose of this initiative was to raise awareness about cleanliness in rural areas and encourage community participation.

Under the programs, cleanliness drives were conducted in many village panchayats, where villagers and sanitation workers collaborated to clean public spaces and streets in the villages. On this occasion, sanitation workers were specially honored to appreciate their contributions and inspire other villagers to take up cleanliness efforts.

Additionally, a community sanitation complex was inaugurated, providing villagers with a clean and convenient space. During the events, a cleanliness pledge was administered, where participants committed to keeping their surroundings clean and actively participating in the cleanliness drive.
