CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A grand observance of Swachhta Pakhwada was held at the Indira Gandhi National Museum of Mankind. The objective of the event was to raise awareness about cleanliness and encourage public participation. During the fortnight, creative activities such as painting competitions, essay writing, special cleanliness drives, cleanliness rallies, and heritage walks were organized. Students from various schools in Bhopal enthusiastically participated in these events.
A concluding ceremony was held where participants were felicitated. In the painting competition, the first prize was awarded to Sheetal Gupta (Sharada Vidya Mandir) and Ajma Mansoori (Kopal Higher Secondary School). The second prize went to Zainab Sheikh and Tanishka Sahu, while the third prize was received by Shreyansh Gautam and Jyoti Rawat.
In the essay writing competition, Harsh Tiwari and Kashish Keshari secured the first place. Aarushi Rathore secured second place, and Aindri Upadhyay won third place.
Professor S.K. Gupta, Principal of the Regional Institute of Education, was present as the chief guest at the ceremony. The event was also graced by the presence of Museum Director Pandey, Deepak Chaudhary, and Mohammad Rehan. All dignitaries encouraged the participants to remain committed to cleanliness and to bring about positive change in society.
