CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Under the chairmanship of District Election Officer Mr. Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, a meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium regarding the organization of nodal officers and sweep activities for the Lok Sabha elections – 2024. In the meeting, District Election Officer Kaushalendra Vikram Singh emphasized the importance of voting for the strength of democracy, urging the relevant departments to coordinate and conduct sweep activities to increase the voter turnout in the district.
He instructed to list the polling centers with low voter turnout in previous elections and to plan the execution of sweep activities at the booth level. The District Election Officer also provided instructions for the smooth conduct of election-related activities to the responsible and assistant officers of various departments formed for the Lok Sabha elections – 2024.
In the meeting, District Panchayat CEO Rituraj Singh, Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan, ADM Shri Himanshu Chandra, Shri Harshal Pancholi, Additional Collector Ankur Meshram, along with all Joint Collectors, SDMs, and other officers were present.”
