CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress / ITDC News Bhopal: After a few celebrity couples such as Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani got married, reports of actor Taapsee Pannu’s wedding also began to gain ground, with many publications reporting about her upcoming wedding with partner and badminton player, Mathias Boe, this March. Taapsee recently addressed those rumours and opened up about her personal life and said that she had to ‘kiss many frogs’ before she finally found her ‘prince’ in Boe.
Speaking to Zoom, Taapsee said, “I had to kiss many frogs before I found the prince. But as I matured and delved into my career, it became apparent that what I needed was a man, not a boy. There’s a vast difference. I was certain that only a mature individual could provide the security and stability I sought in a relationship. I refuse to compromise on emotional investment, especially considering its far-reaching implications on my personal and professional life. I am resolute in my decision to be with a man, not a boy”.
The actor also addressed the wedding speculations and stated, “There’s a relentless pressure to pry into someone’s personal life, disregarding the individual’s privacy. If and when I decide to make an announcement, it will be on my terms. I believe in sharing my life’s milestones when the time feels right, not when pressured.”
Earlier, there were reports about how Taapsee and Mathias Boe would get married this March in Udaipur in a low-key ceremony.
During the same interview, Taapsee clarified that she would be the first one to share the happy news if such a thing was indeed happening: “If you let it be, I will share the news at the right time. If there’s something to announce, I will do it. It’s not like I’m doing anything dishonest or illegal. I am single, and they don’t expect me to get married or what? I have been very honest about my relationships. I haven’t hidden anything. So, whenever it happens, you will know.”
On the work front, Taapsee Pannu was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani directorial, Dunki, which saw her romancing superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
