CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal. A three-day Tagore Sports-Art-Science Festival is being organised at Rabindranath Tagore University. Students are getting an opportunity to showcase their talent in activities linked to art, science and environmental protection.
Under the Tagore Science Festival, students presented their science projects. Through these projects, students got an opportunity to present their scientific understanding, creative thinking and new ideas. The project presentations gave students a platform to explain their ideas in practical form and display their interest in science.
The theme of the science festival is “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”, aimed at increasing awareness about environmental protection and better use of resources. Through science projects and environment-based activities, efforts are being made to connect students with the importance of a sustainable lifestyle.
The Tagore Art Festival includes competitions such as solo singing, solo instrumental performance, solo dance, group dance, rangoli and mehndi. Through these activities, students are showcasing their artistic talent and creative abilities.
Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats said, “Art enhances students’ creativity, while science inspires them to explore new possibilities. Such platforms help take students’ ideas forward.”
Vice-Chancellor R.P. Dubey said, “Promoting scientific thinking and innovation among students is the need of the hour. Project presentations inspire them to use their knowledge practically.”
Registrar Sangeeta Jauhari said, “Such events give students an opportunity to present their talent and new ideas. This develops creativity, confidence and a sense of social responsibility in them.”
The three-day Tagore Sports-Art-Science Festival will be held on the university campus. Through sports, art and science, the event is encouraging the multidimensional development of students.
