CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Tavishi Devrani Enhances University Reputation at NSS State-Level Leadership Training Camp
Tavishi Devrani, a fourth-semester student of the Department of Mass Communication at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU), Bhopal, participated in the NSS State-Level Leadership Training Camp held at Chitrakoot, bringing pride and recognition to her university.
At the camp, Tavishi represented the university with distinction and showcased her effective leadership skills. Approximately 625 student volunteers from around seven universities across the state participated in the event. Held at the Deendayal Research Institute, Entrepreneurship Campus, Chitrakoot, the seven-day camp included intellectual sessions, physical training, and cultural programs. The primary objective was to foster digital literacy, personality development, community service, and leadership qualities among youth.
During the camp, Tavishi actively contributed to the media team, handling tasks ranging from ground reporting to content writing for daily activities with efficiency and skill. Upon returning from Chitrakoot, she shared that the camp had been a “turning point” in her life, equipping her with qualities of leadership, discipline, and social responsibility, which she is now eager to apply for the welfare of society and her university.
Her remarkable achievement was congratulated by the Vice-Chancellor Vijay Manohar Tiwari, NSS Coordinator Dr. Gajendra Singh Avasya, Head of the Department of Mass Communication Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, and other faculty members, who also wished her a bright future. Tavishi’s accomplishment is sure to serve as a source of inspiration for other students.
