CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The teacher recruitment examination has been postponed following an order of the High Court. The examination was scheduled to be held between October 11 and 25, 2026. According to the court’s directions, the examination will not be conducted until all eligible candidates from reserved categories are given an opportunity to appear.
As a result of the decision, candidates preparing for the examination will now have to wait for the announcement of new dates.
In the matter, the High Court has emphasised ensuring that all eligible candidates from reserved categories get an opportunity to take part in the examination. Because of this, the examination cannot be held as per the earlier schedule. Ensuring equal opportunity and the participation of eligible candidates in the recruitment process is a key aspect of the order.
After the postponement of the examination, candidates remain keenly awaiting the new dates. The position on the next examination dates will become clear only after the department concerned issues a revised examination schedule. Candidates have been advised to keep watch on official notifications and not take decisions on the basis of any unverified information.
