CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity at Rabindranath Tagore University. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Ravi Prakash Dubey graced the event as the Chief Guest. He said that teachers are not just carriers of knowledge but true guides of society. Their contribution is invaluable in shaping the lives of students while instilling values and culture.

Special Guest Tini Tare Pandey (Project Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh) said that education is the foundation of social progress and teachers play the most significant role in shaping children’s personalities. Mountaineer and motivational speaker Jyoti Ratre, in her address, highlighted that even in difficult circumstances, teachers show students the right path and instill confidence.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta emphasized that teachers shape the holistic personality of students while maintaining a balance between technology and knowledge. Registrar Sangeeta Johri, in her welcome address, said that Teachers’ Day provides us with an opportunity to express respect and gratitude to our teachers.
On this occasion, under the “Vanmali Excellence Awards 2025,” 28 teachers were felicitated in five categories – Academic Excellence, Research & Innovation, Community & Institutional Development, Student-Centric Award, and Special Category.

Cultural performances including poetry recitations, songs, dances, and faculty-student presentations brought the program to life. The celebration not only made Teachers’ Day memorable but also honored the dedication and hard work of teachers contributing to the field of education.
