CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Tejas Sudarshan Pitched PM Modi Two AI Ideas in 90 Seconds
New Delhi. Startup founder Tejas Parthasarathy Sudarshan, who presented two ideas related to artificial intelligence (AI) before Prime Minister Narendra Modi in just 90 seconds on the Chennai Metro, is currently in the spotlight. He is the founder of Winsen Labs. His initiative focuses on using AI technology to solve real-world problems and make services simpler for people.
Who is Tejas Parthasarathy Sudarshan? Tejas Sudarshan works in the fields of entrepreneurship and technology. According to media reports, he studied commerce and business at the University of Madras and also obtained a chartered accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has worked with KPMG India. Before starting Winsen Labs, he also worked on Fanpit, an events and community platform.
Two ideas presented before the Prime Minister: During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Chennai visit on October 11, 2026, Tejas was among 17 startup founders who got an opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister and other dignitaries. During the Metro journey, he got about 90 seconds to present his ideas. His first suggestion was related to giving students practical knowledge of artificial intelligence. He proposed that government departments and universities could work together to give students projects based on real-world problems. This would give students an opportunity to apply technology learned in classrooms to real situations. At the same time, government departments could also get fresh thinking and potential solutions.
His second suggestion was to create an AI-based integrated help centre to simplify government services. Under this system, citizens would be able to register their complaint or application and submit the required documents in one place. The proposed AI system could help route the request to the relevant department and track its status. However, these are ideas presented by Tejas; no government announcement confirming their implementation has been verified.
From a school idea to a national-level discussion: One example of Tejas’s interest in technology dates back to 2017. According to reports, during a student leadership election at school, he had suggested using Google Classroom to improve studies. Nearly nine years later, his AI-related idea reached the Prime Minister. The interaction during his Metro journey underlines how young entrepreneurs in the startup sector are looking for technology-based solutions for needs such as education and government services. The real impact of these ideas will depend on aspects such as their testing, implementation, citizens’ needs and data security.
