CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Smriti Sthal in Bhadbhada, located in the South-West Assembly constituency, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers paid tribute to the late Kushabhau Thackeray on his death anniversary. Throughout the day, BJP workers visited the site to honor the revered leader.
BJP State General Secretary and MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani, along with hundreds of workers from the South-West Assembly constituency, visited the Smriti Sthal to pay their respects to Thackeray Ji. On this occasion, MLA Sabnani shared anecdotes about Thackeray Ji’s life and his unwavering dedication to the party.
Sabnani remarked, “Thackeray Ji dedicated his entire life to the party. It is because of his tireless efforts that Madhya Pradesh BJP has become an unassailable fortress. Thackeray Ji traversed Madhya Pradesh and the now-separated Chhattisgarh on foot, making invaluable contributions to strengthening the organization. I was fortunate to work alongside him on many occasions, and those experiences have left a lasting impact on my life.”
Recalling a memorable incident, Sabnani said, “I once traveled to Delhi to invite Thackeray Ji to renew his party membership. Though he mentioned he had already been made a member by the Delhi team, I insisted that he take membership through our team as he belonged to Madhya Pradesh. Thackeray Ji agreed, and after taking the membership, he insisted on paying the membership fee himself, saying that no matter how high one’s position in the party, everyone must fulfill this duty to maintain accountability towards the organization.”
Sabnani further shared that the coins Thackeray Ji gave him as membership fees are still preserved as a priceless treasure. He also recalled other inspiring incidents involving Thackeray Ji, emphasizing his role in building the BJP’s strong organizational foundation in Madhya Pradesh.
The event was attended by several prominent leaders, including District President Sumit Pachauri, District Office In-charge Raju Aneja, Mayor Council Member Jagdish Yadav, Councilors Brijula Sachan and Aarti Aneja, senior BJP leader Liledra Maran, and Mandal Presidents Paras Narwaria, Sonu Paliwal, Mukesh Dehade, and Hemant Badgaiya, along with a large number of party workers from the South-West Assembly constituency.
