CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 54th Foundation Day of the Indian National Students’ Organization (NSUI) was celebrated with enthusiasm by all district units of the state. The celebration commenced with flag hoisting at the Pradesh Congress Office in Shivaji Nagar. Students expressed their joy by distributing sweets.

On the occasion of the NSUI’s founding day, Pradesh President Ashutosh Chaukse congratulated the state officials, district officials, and workers of the NSUI. He emphasized the importance of today’s celebration, coinciding with the Lok Sabha elections. He appealed to new voters and youth to understand the current state of the nation and urged them to participate in the elections to safeguard democracy.

Chaukse provided information about the organization, stating that the establishment of NSUI on April 9, 1970, by the former Prime Minister of India, late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, aimed to empower students. He administered the oath to students at the Pradesh Office and urged the officials of the organization to work dedicatedly for the strength of the Congress Party.

Vivek Tripathi, spokesperson of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, extended greetings to the students on the Foundation Day. He emphasized the need to fight against unemployment and prevent the commercialization of education.

Mueenuddin Siddiqui, the flag bearer of the MP Congress Seva Dal, taught students how to sing the national anthem and the national song with pride and explained the significance of the flag.
