CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” the 78th Independence Day was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in the Bhopal Railway Division. The main event was held in the courtyard of the Divisional Railway Manager’s office, where Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Devashish Tripathi hoisted the national flag and took the salute from the impressive parade presented by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Following this, he read out the message from the General Manager of West Central Railway, highlighting the performance and achievements of the railway in the year 2023-24.

On this occasion, the DRM extended his greetings and best wishes to all the railway employees of the division. He acknowledged the collective efforts of the officers and employees from all departments of the Bhopal division, who, with a strong sense of teamwork, have successfully accomplished various tasks related to revenue generation, employee welfare, safety, security, infrastructure maintenance, and train operations. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude towards all such dedicated railway personnel.

The event also featured a march-past by the Railway Protection Force, Scouts, and Guides, along with cultural performances.

Present at the occasion were Gunjan Tripathi, Chairperson of the West Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization, Bhopal Division, and its members, Chief Project Manager (Gati Shakti) K.L. Meena, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Rashmi Diwakar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Vijay Singh, along with all branch officers, other railway officials, and employees.
