CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: After receiving an ‘A’ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University is continuously striving to incorporate new facilities for its students in the context of the National Education Policy 2020, so that students can be made globally competitive. In this regard, the university is preparing to sign two important Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs). The first MOU will be signed with the Academic Communication Association of New Delhi
Upon the completion of this MOU, the university will be able to develop high-quality multimedia educational content and integrate multimedia content seamlessly into its teaching practices. This will also expand the reach of digital educational content throughout the state, ensuring that the vision of Digital India becomes a reality. With this agreement, the university will receive assistance in creating a simple, easy, and adaptable digital educational environment. The rich audio/video and other digital resources of the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) can be utilized, benefiting students across the state, including approximately 600 study centers affiliated with Bhoj.
The second MOU, with BASEIL, will lead to the development of the university’s EMPRC studios. With visual and auditory equipment, all resources can be controlled. After the construction of the studio, arrangements will also be made for maintenance and training for one year. Through these facilities, the university will be able to produce high-quality audio/video, enabling students to benefit from modern teaching methods. Overall, the preparation of these two MOUs will attract students to the university, thereby supporting the increase in the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) of higher education in the state. The MOU signing ceremony will be attended by the Honorable Minister of Higher Education,
Mr. Indar Singh Parmar, as the chief guest. Special guests will include the Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. K.C. Gupta, and Commissioner of Higher Education, Mr. Nishant Warwade. Mr. Jagat Bhushan Nadda, Director of CEC New Delhi, and Mr. R.S. Srivastava, Deputy Director, will also be present from CEC, along with Mr. Bipin B. Pandey, Deputy Director-General of BASEIL.
