CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rabindranath Tagore University, in collaboration with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, financially supported by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, organized a Yoga Festival. The event was organized by the University’s Department of Yoga. The main guests of this event were Prof. Ishwar Bharadwaj, Udham Singh, Sadhana Dauneria, and Dilip Tiwari. The theme of this festival was “Yoga for Women Empowerment.”

On this occasion, Ishwar Bharadwaj stated that yoga is a priceless heritage that we should accept as a companion in life’s journey, leading our soul towards the divine. He also emphasized the importance of yoga for women. Udham Singh highlighted the benefits of yoga, stating that it not only improves physical health but also plays a significant role in mental and spiritual development. Additionally, Sadhana Dauneria and Dilip Tiwari shared their thoughts on the importance of yoga.

Furthermore, Ratanesh Pandey, the Head of the Yoga Department, led detailed discussions on various useful aspects of yoga.

During this event, participants practiced various yoga postures such as Surya Namaskar, Boat Pose, Triangle Pose, Cobra Pose, Mountain Pose, Warrior Pose, Corpse Pose, Pranayama, and others, led by yoga experts. Everyone who participated in this festival gained insight into the importance of yoga and its benefits in life.

The stage management during the program was efficiently handled by Akhilesh, a teacher from the Yoga Department. Vice-Chancellor Sangita Johri, Dean Administration CP Mishra, Dean Academic Manish Gupta, along with faculty members and a large number of students, were present at the event.
