CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the new Superfast Bi-weekly Express rail service by flagging it off at Bhopal Railway Station. The purpose of this new rail service is to facilitate passenger traffic between Bhopal and Rewa and to strengthen the connectivity between the two cities. This will not only make travel convenient for passengers but will also contribute to the economic, social, tourism, and cultural development of both cities. The inauguration of this new train service was met with joy and enthusiasm from the passengers, who appreciated the railway administration’s initiative. The dignitaries present at the event also praised this initiative of the railway, considering it significant for passenger amenities.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Finance, Commercial Tax, Planning, Economic, and Statistics Jagdish Devda, Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Cooperation Vishwas Sarang, Member of Parliament Bhopal Alok Sharma, MLA Huzur Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Berasia Vishnu Khatri, MLA Bhopal (South/West) Bhagwandas Sabnani, and Mayor Malti Rai, along with other dignitaries, media representatives, and general citizens were present.
Timetable for Train Number 22145/22146 Bhopal-Rewa-Bhopal Superfast Bi-weekly Express:
Train number 22145 Bhopal-Rewa Superfast Bi-weekly Express will depart from Bhopal station every Friday and Sunday at 11:00 PM and reach Rewa station the next day at 09:15 AM.
Train number 22146 Rewa-Bhopal Superfast Bi-weekly Express will depart from Rewa station every Saturday and Monday at 10:30 PM and reach Bhopal station the next day at 08:05 AM.
With the commencement of this train, citizens of Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Pipariya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, and Satna now have an additional rail service to travel between Bhopal and Rewa.
The new train service will ensure convenience and safety for passengers. All passengers are requested to take advantage of this new service and make their journey pleasant.
