CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of the cleanliness fortnight being observed in the Bhopal division until October 2, 2024, Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi administered the cleanliness pledge to all officers and employees at the divisional office. Along with this, the cleanliness fortnight was launched throughout the Bhopal division with officers and employees taking the cleanliness pledge at stations, offices, depot offices, and other locations.

Following the pledge, the Divisional Railway Manager planted trees in the garden of the divisional railway office. Under the cleanliness fortnight, various cleanliness activities are being organized daily in the division. As part of the cleanliness pledge, railway employees committed to contributing two hours of voluntary work each week. Additionally, employees at Bhopal station and all major stations and depots took the cleanliness pledge.

During the cleanliness fortnight, a special campaign is conducted to clean railway stations, trains, tracks, colonies, office premises, provide clean food and water, maintain clean water bodies, premises, and toilets, along with public awareness campaigns. Furthermore, to raise awareness about cleanliness, banners/posters related to cleanliness awareness campaigns are being placed at prominent stations in the division. Announcements are also being made through public address systems at stations to spread messages regarding cleanliness and promote awareness among passengers.
