Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal mesmerized the audience with a splendid blend of fashion, music, and dance. The event commenced with a devotional Ganesh Vandana by Trishala and Manya, laying the cultural foundation for the enriching evening.
As the chief guest, Mr. Nikunj Kumar Shrivastav (IAS Principal Secretary, Department of Revenue, Mining, Science and Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh), and the distinguished guest, Mr. Sanjeev Agrawal (Chairman & Managing Director, SEZ Group), were absent, their daughter Shivani Agrawal (Executive Director, SEZ Group) graced the occasion.
After welcoming esteemed jury members, NIFT Bhopal students provided a brief introduction to the fascinating themes of the fashion show. The sponsors of the program were also acknowledged for their indispensable support.
Fashion stole the limelight as the main attraction – the competition commenced with the sponsor round, where students of the GEO Fashion Modeling Program showcased their skills on the ramp. Between rounds, the audience was entertained with various cultural performances, including melodious songs by Arjun and Aditi, energetic dance performances by Nandita and Akshara, a live band performance by Yashvardhan, Saksham, and Kaundilya, and thought-provoking monologues by Garima.
The thematic rounds sparked creativity – ‘Mysterious Masquerade’ theme transported the audience to a world filled with mystery, vibrancy, and wonder.
The fashion show unfolded in three captivating phases, each revealing a new mystery. The models mesmerized the audience with their exceptional styles in this spectacular event.
Cosplay Round: Dr. Neha Varma mentored the students in the round, bringing their favorite fictional characters to life.
Espionage Round: Round mentors Ms. Manika Verma and Ms. Namrata Singh helped students present the essence of mystery and intrigue.
Enigmatic Round: Round mentor Mr. Ayan Tiwari challenged students to create outfits that evoke mystery and allure.
These three rounds undoubtedly showcased the students’ creativity beyond the traditional boundaries of fashion, culminating in a unique showcase.
Appreciating the grand finale and excellence – after a captivating dance performance by Navya, Ankita, Kaushiki, and Riddhi, the chief guest addressed the audience, praising the students’ talent and creativity. The environment director announced the results and distributed awards, igniting enthusiasm to its peak. The jury members were then presented with tokens of appreciation for their invaluable contributions.
