CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Mohan government has released the list of in-charge ministers, assigning responsibility for Bhopal to Cabinet Minister Chetan Kashyap. Before the minister’s arrival, Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee’s state spokesperson Vivek Tripathi exposed the dire state of the city’s roads to the minister. Tripathi highlighted that the road infrastructure in the state has completely collapsed, causing significant difficulties for the public. Despite collecting road taxes and hefty tolls, the Madhya Pradesh government is failing to provide good roads to its citizens. People are forced to risk their lives on these dangerous roads, with reports of accidents coming in from all corners of the state daily, yet the BJP government remains indifferent.

Tripathi further pointed out that in Bhopal, the very city from which the entire state is administered, the public is struggling for decent roads. Roads leading from the ministry to the Raj Bhavan, from the Chief Minister’s office to the Assembly, have all fallen victim to corruption, and it is the misfortune of the city’s residents that the responsible ministers and officials are unwilling to address the issue.

Tripathi stated that they would present safety equipment to the minister, demanding that he take the necessary steps to repair these dilapidated roads, which have been plagued by corruption, and relieve the residents of Bhopal from this severe problem.
