CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the Lok Sabha elections, Congress candidate Guddu Raja Bundela reached Khurai Grain Mandi and interacted with farmers, laborers, porters, and traders, urging them to vote by highlighting the Congress’s justice manifesto. During this, he said that the BJP and the Modi government have deceived farmers by doubling their income.
The goal of the Congress is to free the sections associated with farmers and agricultural work from exploitation. For this, the Congress Party has brought guarantees in the form of farmer justice. During Guddu Raja Bundela’s election campaign, city Congress president Rakesh Dubey, block president Shakir Khan, state secretary Sardar Harvind Chawla, Indrabhushan Tiwari, and other Congress members were present. Congress candidate Guddu Raja Bundela, who reached out to farmers, said that the Congress Party is in favor of implementing MSP to ensure farmers get the full price for their crops.
However, the Modi government is working to imprison the agricultural sector in the hands of industrialists and middlemen. During discussions with farmers, laborers, and traders, he said that once the Congress and the India Alliance government are formed at the center, the anti-farmer policies of the BJP government will be ended and a just system will be implemented. He appealed to the farmers to give this opportunity to their own son and brother from Bundelkhand to go to the Lok Sabha and to support in eradicating backwardness, exploitation, and injustice from this entire region.
