CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rabindranath Tagore University’s Education Department organized a panel discussion on the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP). Through this panel discussion, various aspects of education curriculum integration, interdisciplinary programs, fast-track teacher certification methods, practical education,
teaching methodologies, possibilities for vocational development, and technological integration were discussed. The event featured eminent guests including Chief Guest Rajni Kant, Chancellor of RNTU; subject matter expert Sangita Johari, Vice Chancellor; Pooja Chaturvedi, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics); Kiran Mishra, Dean, Education Department; and coordinator Brajesh Kumar Sharma, President, Education Department, RNTU.
Participants from various universities and institutions across different states also contributed to the panel discussion. The main objective of this discussion was to deeply explore various aspects and challenges of the upcoming Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP). The program outline highlighted different aspects of the B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., and B.Com. B.Ed. under the four-year ITEP guided by NCTE. Brajesh Kumar Sharma outlined various questions such as the need to initiate ITEP, its benefits, the structure of ITEP curriculum, and how to prepare the ordinance for ITEP in the future.
Dr. F.S. Khan, Dr. H.K. Khandaai, and Dr. Kiran Mishra emphasized on building the committee and involving members from various institutions. Principal Shri Krishna Kant also spoke about training teachers, parents, and students through the school. Other participants actively engaged in the program, contributing significantly. At the conclusion of the program, Dr. Kiran Mishra expressed gratitude to all participants and emphasized the need to move forward with ITEP.
