CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The inauguration of the expanded building of the Chief Minister’s Sanjeevani Clinic in Ward-33 Bhim Nagar was carried out by MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani and Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, attended by a large number of municipal officials and the public.
Mayor Smt. Malti Rai mentioned the operation of Sanjeevani clinics by the Health Department in various wards of Bhopal, providing basic medical and examination services conveniently near people’s homes, all of which are offered free of cost by the government.
MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani emphasized the government’s prioritization of public health, highlighting the initiation of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana by the Prime Minister, benefiting millions. He stressed the significance of Sanjeevani Clinics for basic medical services and urged people to maintain these healthcare facilities like their own homes.
Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, informed about the expansion of Bhim Nagar Sanjeevani Clinic, including additional rooms on the ground and first floors. The clinic offers 80 types of pathology tests, 208 types of medicines, vaccinations, ANC checks, family welfare services, pediatric care, adolescent health, elderly health services, as well as screening and treatment for infectious and non-communicable diseases.
