CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : In Lucknow, the Khushi Foundation and Disha Educational Society jointly organized the Seva Shikhar Honor Ceremony-2024 at the Buddhist Research Institute, Gomtinagar. The ceremony was presided over by Professor (Dr.) Sanjay Dwivedi, Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.

Professor Sanjay Dwivedi stated that honoring talents generates positive awareness in society and motivates people to engage in good deeds. He emphasized that the strength of Indian families lies in their values, and that India will continue to excel by preserving its culture, values, and traditions. Institutions like Khushi Foundation play a significant role in keeping the nation vibrant. Professor Dwivedi noted that the joy of receiving an honor in return for service is unique and helps inspire a spirit of service in others. He expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Khushi Foundation and Disha Educational Society for organizing the grand event and praised their work for the welfare of the underprivileged sections of society.

On this occasion, Hargovind Buddhist, President of the Buddhist Research Institute, remarked that the honored personalities from various fields exhibited clear signs of happiness. He added that the responsibility of those honored has now increased, urging them to work diligently in their respective fields and set an example for others. Mukesh Kumar Sharma, Executive Director of Population Services International India, addressed the event and highly praised the program. The vote of thanks was delivered by Prabhat Pandey, President of Disha Educational and Welfare Society.

Honorees included: Santosh Gupta (CEO – Indian Social Responsibility Network), Balbir Singh Mann (Secretary – Ummeed), Mahendra Dixit (Managing Director – Sigma Trade Wings), Sachin Gupta (Director – Olive Health), Dr. R.P. Singh (Director – Sports, Uttar Pradesh), Mrs. Sumona S. Pandey (Akashvani), Medanta, Lucknow, Deepesh Singh (OrganicsU), Narendra Kumar Maurya (Managing Director – Rohit Group), International Buddhist Research Institute, Mamta Sharma, Rashmi Mishra, and others recognized for their commendable work in various fields.

The ceremony began with a Ganesh Vandana and Saraswati Vandana by Pihu Dwivedi. This was followed by a song performance by Lucknow Connection Worldwide. Gargi Dwivedi presented a cultural dance, and Deepa Awasthi and Nikhil Kasudhan performed a dance dedicated to Lord Shiva. Vidyabhushan Soni’s captivating dance also received much applause. The performances by Pihu and Gargi Dwivedi, under the direction of Anupama Srivastava, Director and Choreographer of Nrityangana Dance Institute Indiranagar, including a Ganesh Vandana by Bhanvi Srivastava, left the audience spellbound.
