CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Professor Ramji Tripathi, former professor at the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication in Noida, was honored with heartfelt condolences from the university family. Mr. Tripathi passed away at Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad. He had been unwell for the past few days. On this occasion, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. K.G. Suresh, remembered his journalistic and academic contributions. He said that we have lost a successful officer, an exemplary teacher, and a good human being.
Prof. Tripathi had served as a senior officer of the Indian Information Service, handling various responsibilities in that position. After retiring from the post of Director-General, he remained active in journalism education. During this time, he also served in various teaching institutions including the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Along with teaching at the Noida campus of MCU, he also successfully conducted training programs at the university’s main campus.
In this condolence meeting held at the Chanakya Bhawan in the Makhanpuram campus, Secretary Avinash Vajpayee, Dean Academic Prof. P. Shashikala, along with other professors, officers, and staff members, remembered Professor Tripathi’s contributions and expressed their condolences.
