CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Service Scheme unit of Nehru Youth Center, Rai Sen, and Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, in collaboration with the Law Department, organized a one-day “Aas Padosh” Youth Parliament program.
Ten selected youths presented their views on the “Amrit Kal’s Five Pranas and the Vision of Developed India 2047.” The program was graced by the Chief Guest, Surendra Shukla, State Director of Nehru Youth Center Organization, Bhopal, distinguished guest Aditi Chaturvedi, Pro Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Saraswati Guest, Deputy Director Arvind Shridhar, and President of Rabindranath Tagore University, Rajneekant, who addressed the participants.
Surendra Shukla stated that the vision of a developed India is a sacrifice in which every youth of the country must participate to make it a reality.
As part of the National Service Scheme and Nehru Youth Center, India has the world’s largest organized youth power. This youth power should come forward to realize the vision of a developed India. Pro Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi mentioned that Indian civilization and culture are the oldest in the world, but Westernization has overshadowed its true essence. Therefore, we are facing many problems today. The fundamental nature of Indian culture presents solutions to almost all these problems.
Self-realization is the key to freedom from every aspect of slavery. The President of the university, Dr. Rajneekant, stated that while everyone talks about their rights, they often ignore their duties. True citizenship lies in realizing one’s duties towards the nation.
Special guest Arvind Shridhar said that the “Aas Padosh” Youth Parliament program aims to develop leadership qualities among youth, and through this, youths from remote villages of the district are selected who can participate in finding solutions to the current problems of the country. Nehru Youth Center provides many such opportunities to the youth. The successful execution of the entire program was acknowledged by the Program Officer, Gabbar Singh, and the vote of thanks was given by the coordinator of the program, Ms. Madhavi Patkar. At the end of the program, young speakers were honored with certificates and trophies.
