The Operation Green initiative of the NSS cadets of Rabindranath Tagore University involves tree plantation.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The cadets of the NCC Naval Wing of RNTU, under Operation Green, collaborated with Dial 100 Social Foundation, SBI Mutual Fund, and Dial 100 of Madhya Pradesh Police to plant 500 saplings. This tree plantation program was organized at the Dial 100 campus in Police Colony, Bhadbhada. The NCC cadets actively participated in the Operation Green campaign, significantly contributing to its success.

Among the participants in the campaign were Police Superintendent Radio Shashank Garg, Deputy Police Superintendent Dial 100 Kustawar, Inspector Dial 100 Kuldeep, SBI Mutual Fund Regional Head Kapil Malik, Mrs. India Impress of the Year 2024 Manisha Anand, along with Munnavar Khan and Gaurav, founders of KN Social Foundation, and other members of their group, who participated with great enthusiasm.

It is known that RNTU NCC initiated the Operation Green campaign on World Environment Day, aiming to raise awareness about the environment and promote extensive tree plantation.
