CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “For us, it is a matter of great pride that the acceptance of Hindi is increasing worldwide. The National Education Policy of the Government of India has also redefined language education as a skill. There is a growing trend of learning Indian culture and Hindi abroad. Similarly, there is a significant demand for learning Hindi in Hindi-speaking states of India, especially in the northeastern and southern states.
To strengthen the global status of Hindi, the establishment of the ‘Tagore International Hindi Center’ has been initiated under the ‘World Stage’ at Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal. It is noteworthy that in the World Stage festival, the inauguration of this center was done with grandeur by Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, the former Minister of Education, Government of India. Now, under this international Hindi center, affiliations have been established with institutions and universities in more than 30 countries worldwide to promote and systematically conduct Hindi propagation and formal learning.
In this regard, special emphasis has been laid on creativity and readability for global-level Hindi education through the ‘Hindi Teaching Curriculum.’ For this, arrangements for organized examination and standard certification have also been made. Through this Hindi teaching curriculum, Hindi can be learned with great interest through both online and offline mediums. In the coming years, we aim to benefit one crore people through Hindi education programs. To achieve this, the ‘Hindi Teaching Curriculum’ has been developed digitally to incorporate the local environment of expatriate Indians and Hindi learners in various countries in Hindi, English, and Roman scripts, according to the global perspective. Soon, this ‘Hindi Teaching Curriculum’ will be available globally through an Android app. These thoughts were expressed by senior poet-storyteller, director, World Stage, and the Vice-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Santosh Choube.”
