The organization of a lecture on the occasion of the establishment day of the Pharmacology Department at AIIMS.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Pharmacology Department of AIIMS Bhopal celebrated its establishment day. During this event, a lecture on pharmaceutical education and research was also organized. On this occasion, Prof. Ajay Singh, the Executive Director and CEO of AIIMS Bhopal, emphasized on establishing new standards of skillfulness with extreme caution while prescribing medicines for any patient. Prof. Singh praised the department’s efforts towards excellence in pharmaceutical practice and encouraged further dedication and hard work in the future.

Dr. Balakrishnan S, the head of the Pharmacology Department, presented the department’s annual report, highlighting significant achievements of the previous year and outlining ambitious goals for the future. The keynote speaker of the program, Dr. Shoaib Mukherjee, Consultant in Pharmaceutical Medicine and Director of Medical Research at Medanta Hospitals, delivered a lecture on “The Emerging Future of Pharmacology in India.” After Dr. Mukherjee’s lecture, there was an interactive session where undergraduate and postgraduate students discussed career opportunities in pharmacology and various issues, including essential skills for budding careers in the field.

During this lecture organized on the establishment day, students from AIIMS Bhopal, along with residents and representatives from other medical colleges in the state, were present.
