CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “The Pharmacy Department of Barkatullah University has developed an extremely effective Ayurvedic formulation for hair removal as part of significant research work. This formulation, when applied to the area of the body from which hair needs to be removed, can easily remove hair within a few moments, wiping them off clean from any tissue paper. Prior to various surgical procedures, harmful chemicals are often used to remove hair,
but this research work will prove to be very effective in this regard. In today’s time, where many people use shaving blades, hair removal creams, and sprays for hair removal, which often leaves the skin rough, it has also been observed that continuous use of such chemically laden hair removal formulations can lead to black marks on the skin, and many times it may also result in rashes and other skin-related problems. Since the formulation developed by the department is Ayurvedic, it is safer.
The department has been granted a patent for this formulation by the Indian government this month. This formulation is special because it not only removes hair from the body but is also useful for skin-related problems such as blackhead removal, along with moisturizing effect and cleaning effect. This research work has been completed under the guidance of Dr. Ashwani Mishra and Professor Ragini Gothwal, Head of the Department, with Steffi Thomas, the research scholar. Professor S.K. Jain, Vice-Chancellor of Barkatullah University, has congratulated the department for this significant research work.”
