CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rabindranath Tagore University, in collaboration with partner institutions, is organizing the international research and innovation conference “Research Summit 2024” on May 4, 2024, on the university campus. This is the third edition of the Research Summit. The theme for this year is “Developed India – New India.” The conference will encourage contributions to national missions through research, focusing on sustainable development goals, local to global initiatives, new education policies, Digital India, MSMSE, clean energy, Mission Water, pollution control, smart systems, defense systems, cyber security, and business models.
During the press conference, the university chancellor Rajni Kant mentioned that, as every year, this year too, research papers under the Research Summit and research projects under the theme “Innovation” will be presented. A total of 377 research papers will be presented this year. The main themes for participation in the competition are innovation and technology, agriculture and allied sciences, contemporary science and technology, environmental sustainability, and economic development.
Secretary Vijay Singh stated that the university is providing a new platform to the youth through the Research Summit. He further elaborated that research and innovation play a key role in the progress of the nation, and the university is consistently working to inspire the youth in this direction. Undoubtedly, this conference will prove to be a milestone towards building a developed India from a developing one.
In this press conference, the university’s dean academic Sanjeev Gupta, program coordinator T. Ravi Kiran, and deputy secretary Samir Choudhary were prominently present.
