CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off three Vande Bharat trains via video conferencing. Aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Make in India’ and Atmanirbhar Bharat, the state-of-the-art Vande Bharat Express will enhance connectivity on three routes: Meerut-Lucknow, Madurai-Bengaluru, and Chennai-Nagercoil.

These Vande Bharat trains will reduce travel time compared to currently operating high-speed trains. The Meerut City-Lucknow Vande Bharat will save approximately 1 hour, the Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat will save 2 hours, and the Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat will reduce travel time by 1.5 hours.

These new Vande Bharat trains will provide world-class service to the people of the region, offering high speed and convenience, fulfilling the long-standing demand of the people in three states: Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The launch of these Vande Bharat Express trains will set a new standard in rail service, catering to the needs of regular commuters, professionals, traders, and the student community.
