CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the closing ceremony of the girls’ sports meet, the Chief Guest was Bittu Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police, GRP Railway Bhopal. The three-day event was attended by the school Principal Jitendra Singh Rawat and Vice Principal Mahesh Bidla. A total of 252 female students from various Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Bhopal Division participated in this divisional-level sports competition.
Principal Jitendra Singh Rawat extended a green welcome to the Chief Guest by presenting a plant and stated in his welcome address that the aim of the school is for players to learn and progress. Following this, the students performed a welcome song and a beautiful Rajasthani dance as part of the cultural program.
The highlight of the closing ceremony was the awards distribution, where participants, winners, and runners-up were honored with gold, silver, and bronze medals, certificates, and awards. In her address, Bittu Sharma (DSP GRP Railway Bhopal) energized the participants and encouraged them to play with sportsmanship, and to remain disciplined and honest in life. The ceremony was conducted by Dr. V.K. Singh, PGT Hindi. The program concluded with the national anthem and expressions of gratitude to everyone.
