CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Sports Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang paid a courtesy visit to the Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. During the meeting, he had a detailed discussion with the Union Minister about the damage being caused to athletes and sports due to disputes within sports federations. He suggested the formation of a separate National Sports Tribunal for the quick resolution of these disputes. The Union Sports Minister appreciated the suggestion and gave his assurance.
It is noteworthy that the Sports Minister recently participated in the General Body meeting of the Sports Authority of India, where he proposed the establishment of a National Sports Tribunal to resolve the ongoing disputes within sports federations.
Currently, there are disputes in many sports federations, resulting in significant harm to a large number of talented athletes. These disputes have remained unresolved for years.
After the courtesy meeting with the Union Sports Minister today, the Sports Minister expressed his gratitude to the Union Minister. He mentioned that if the National Sports Tribunal is established, it will be an extremely important initiative for Indian athletes. The formation of the National Sports Tribunal will certainly provide a new direction to Indian sports. The Sports Minister of Madhya Pradesh specially thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in promoting sports.”
