CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign was launched, under which a cleanliness fortnight is being observed across the state. As part of this initiative, a comprehensive cleanliness drive was organized at the Collectorate office in Bhopal district. The district’s officials enthusiastically participated in the campaign and expressed their commitment to cleanliness.
During the cleanliness drive at the Collectorate premises, officials including the ADM, SDM, Deputy Collector, and others not only cleaned the premises but also raised awareness about the importance of cleanliness. On this occasion, the officials emphasized that cleanliness must become a part of daily life and is not just a one-day task but requires continuous effort.
The campaign involved proper waste disposal, cleaning of dust and dirt, and other sanitation activities. The officials urged all employees and citizens to contribute to keeping their surroundings clean and to help realize the dream of a Swachh Bharat. They noted that cleanliness is not only important for physical health but also for mental peace.
The ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ fortnight is a powerful step towards Prime Minister Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, aimed at raising awareness about cleanliness across the country. Along with the launch of this campaign in Bhopal district, similar cleanliness drives will be organized at other government and public places as well.
