CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The three-day “Diksha Aarambh” ceremony began at Barkatullah University. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Krishna Gaur, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Madhya Pradesh Government and the representative of the area. Also present on the stage were the Vice-Chancellor of Barkatullah University, Prof. S.K. Jain, Registrar I.K. Mansuri, and Prof. Vivek Sharma. The event was coordinated and addressed by Dr. Anita Tilwari and Chief Coordinator Dr. Ruchi Ghosh.

The main objective of the program was to provide a positive environment for newly admitted students. Prof. Vivek Sharma, Director of the Management Institute, delivered the welcome speech, providing detailed information about the university’s vast campus, its work areas spread across various districts, the university’s special facilities, and research opportunities. He also briefly introduced the different faculties and departments of the university and highlighted the importance and objectives of this three-day event.

Addressing the gathering, Krishna Gaur described the youth not as the future of the country but as its present. She stated that a nation becomes what its youth make of it; therefore, the thoughts, ideas, and perspectives of the youth determine the future of the country. If today’s youth are filled with patriotism and connected to our values and culture, then the future of the country is secure. It is the youth who can shape the present, and our future is connected to the present. She emphasized that hard work is the key to success. Praising the university as one of the best in Madhya Pradesh, she shared a quote from A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, “Dreams are not what you see in your sleep; dreams are those that do not let you sleep.” She encouraged everyone to dream big and strive to take the university to the pinnacle of success.

Prof. Jain invited all students to become part of the university community and assured them of an excellent academic environment, along with a positive assurance to address their concerns. He requested the students to actively participate in the university’s academic, literary, cultural, sports, and research activities, welcoming them into the university family with his blessings.

During the event, students were introduced to the academic, literary, and cultural activities of Barkatullah University. It was expressed that students graduating from here would bring pride to their parents and the university in the world.

The program concluded with a closing address by I.K. Mansuri. The event was held at the Gyan Vigyan Bhavan, where more than 700 students and faculty members were present.
