Sharma, the Quality Assurance Officer of the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) under the Ministry of Defence, visited the labs of the Centre of Excellence at NITR Bhopal and various departments for mutual cooperation. The DGQA ensures quality assurance for the complete range of weapons, ammunition, equipment, and stores supplied to the armed forces.
On this occasion, the Director of NITR, C.C. Tripathi, remarked that today, quality has become an essential benchmark in every field. Today, it is necessary for students and professionals in engineering, technology, and related fields to be aware of quality standards. NITR Bhopal is making efforts in this direction. Today, there is no need or obligation for anyone to compromise on quality standards. The phrase “it works” will no longer suffice.
NITR Bhopal will feel honored to collaborate with the Ministry of Defence in any capacity. Both institutions discussed extensive collaboration in various areas. Captain O.P. Sharma shared information with the students undergoing training at NITR Bhopal from M.I.T. Pune about indigenous business ideas, startups, and defense services, stating that today’s youth are always ready to accept challenges. On this occasion, NITR Bhopal’s Dean of Corporate and International Relations, Prof. P.K. Purohit, Prof. K.K. Jain, Prof. A.K. Sarathe, Major Nishant Ojha, and Jay Singh were also present.
