CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: It is no secret that French superstar footballer Kylian Mbappe grew up admiring Cristiano Ronaldo. In fact, his childhood pic with the Portuguese legend went viral ahead of his much-publicised transfer to Real Madrid – the club where Ronaldo was at his prolific best. He had tweeted pictures with his “idol” four years ago, with the goat emoji.
However, hours earlier, a tweet posted from Mbappe’s X account, calling Ronaldo the greatest of all time left everyone stumped. Not for his praise for the Portuguese star, but what came next.
No. Mbappe was not passing judgement on one of the greatest debates in contemporary football. It’s just that the French striker’s X account was hacked!
There were more hilarious tweets, and some controversial ones too.
From calling Tottenham and London shit (and saying Manchester is red!) to announcing that he will join Manchester United in 2028, the hacker had a field day, at the cost of the 26-year-old.
There were posts on Israel and Palestine, too.
All these posts were deleted shortly afterwards.
